SHACOG Technical Rescue Team

The TRT practices for Low and High Angle Rope Rescue operations.  We try and do scenario based drills for tree rescue, high lines, scree evacs, hunters or workers hanging in harnesses, catwalk rescues etc.  The team uses some of the newest equipment available for technical rope rescue operations: CMC MPDs, Petzl I'd, Hybrid ropes, Petzl ASAP, bariatric stokes basket, and CMC patient packaging systems on the stokes baskets.
